About PHILLIP YORK

Phillip York proudly works at Barcode Properties and is supported by the extensive experience and industry knowledge of one of the top producers in the local market. Serving mid Los Angeles neighborhoods and beyond, he also draws on his own years of experience as a licensed agent since 2015. His longtime residency in various parts of LA helps both savvy and new buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals.

Phillip joins Barcode with a background spanning other prominent brokerage firms of Los Angeles. He is thrilled to capitalize on the firm’s fine reputation and expertise and brings a client-first mentality to every single deal. “I love helping people by listening, understanding, and anticipating their needs. I approach each new client with great care and respect and every transaction with extreme attention to detail,” he says.

Prior to real estate, Phillip had an extensive background in the hotel and food and beverage industries. In the latter, he served and managed for Wolfgang Puck, Thomas Keller, and Soho House, to name a few. Phillip’s natural way of making people feel comfortable and catered to has carried over into real estate, where his main priority is client service and satisfaction.

Raised in Columbus, Ohio, Phillip graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. He lives in Mid-City, LA, with his partner Emily, a fashion designer and painter, their son, and cats and dogs. He says, “Loving and really knowing LA and its many stylings, diversity, and different pockets of culture, architecture, food, and land features, like beaches and mountains, made me want to move here — and stay here!” In his free time, Phillip enjoys playing golf and tennis, snowboarding when possible, hiking, and cooking
